I recently took delivery of some beautiful 'letterbox flowers' from Bloom & Wild, as I was asked to review their new ‘Destinations in Bloom’ range, in particular ‘The Pop-up Paradise'. The range was launched this summer to give you a floral escape with tropical blooms and summer meadow flowers to brighten up your home. ‘The Pop-up Paradise’ is bold, vibrant and colourful. It is made up of a mixture of Anthurium, Philodendron and Monstera stems to give a tropical feel to any space. The 'letterbox flowers' were delivered in a box small enough to fit straight through my letter box, meaning there was no need to wait in for the delivery. They were beautifully packaged and included detailed instructions on how to care for the flowers and plenty of flower food. I especially loved how it included flower food for day one and day three, to help prolong the life of the blooms. There is something really special about ‘The Pop-up Paradise’, as not only does it include 7 beautiful stems, it includes a Octaevo pop-up vase. I was dubious about how this would work but it’s actually a genius idea. You don’t even have to have a vase to display these gorgeous blooms. Simply cut the top off any plastic bottle, fill with water and the flower food provided and then slide this flat pack vase over the top, to create a unique flower display. The instructions were really clear and easy to follow and I was impressed with the finished look. The vase is made from thick water proof paper so you don’t even have to worry about it getting wet. I had no plastic bottles to hand so I used a small glass vase I had in the cupboard. What I loved about the pop-up vase was that it created a great guide on the size of vase or bottle I needed to display my flowers perfectly. ‘The Pop-up Paradise’ would be a perfect gift for some on the go, as they are quick and easy to display, and as no vase is required, it’s a great gift for someone who is away from the home and wan to brighten up a hotel room or even their desk at work! It’s a great way to recycle plastic drinks bottles too! I think ‘The Pop-up Paradise’ would look great in any room and adds a touch of tropical paradise to a space which makes you feel like you’re in paradise, even when you’re not. It has certainly brightened up my guest bedroom and I have had lots of complements on how pretty and unusual it looks. If ‘The Pop-up Paradise’ is not for you then take a look at the rest of the flowers Bloom & Wild has to offer in this new range. I was also sent this beautiful rustic ‘The Impala’ bouquet which fits the theme of my modern country kitchen so well and the smell makes you feel like you’re in a summer meadow. You can see the rest of the ‘Destinations in Bloom’ range here. Love
